National Merit Scholarship: Important information for students hoping to get scholarship. National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (year 2024-25) has been extended to 30 September for submission of applications.
This scholarship is given to complete education
Under the scheme of the Union Ministry of Education, meritorious students from economically weaker sections are provided scholarships to complete their education up to 12th after class 8th. Scholarship is given.
This scheme provides one lakh new scholarships every year for class 9th students who pass the qualifying examination conducted by the State and Union Territory Governments.
The scholarship is continued through renewal from class 10th to 12th based on the academic performance of the students. Rs 12 thousand is given to the students annually as scholarship amount.
