Education News Desk !!! The Delhi University UG admission process has moved forward and now the schedule for the spot round has been released. Candidates who want admission in DU UG courses and have not been selected in all the rounds conducted so far can apply for the spot round. The dates for Spot Round I for the academic year 2024-25 have been released. The registration will start from tomorrow i.e. 18 September 2024.
Note down important dates
According to the information given in the schedule, registration for DU UG Admission Spot Round will start on September 18 at 10 am. Registration can be done till 11.59 pm on September 19. After this, the seat allocation result will be released on September 21 at 3 pm. After the release of the seat allocation result, the candidates will have time till September 22 to accept the allotted seat.
When do I have to pay the fee?
The seat can be accepted till 11.59 pm on this date. After this, the candidates will have two days in which they can secure their seat by making online payment. The last date for this is 24 September 2024. Seats can be accepted till 4.59 pm on this date.
Who can apply?
Candidates who applied under the Common Seat Allotment System 2024 but have not been allotted a college in any round can opt to participate in Spot Round Admission – I till 5 pm today i.e. September 17. To do this, candidates have to go to the dashboard and select the option called ‘Spot Admission’. After this they can participate in this round. Also keep in mind that candidates will be able to select only those program and college combinations in which seats are available. This will also depend on their category.
Cannot withdraw seats
Also keep in mind that candidates will not have any option to withdraw or upgrade seats in the spot round. The seat once allotted in the spot round will be final. It cannot be upgraded in the further stages of the spot round. Also know that once the candidates select for spot round admission, their dashboard will be frozen. After this, they cannot select the withdrawal option. So proceed with caution.
