The state government on Tuesday replaced DMs of six districts including Ayodhya and Amethi. A total of 16 IAS officers were transferred. DM Chandra Vijay Singh of Ayodhya has been appointed as Special Secretary. Its responsibility has been entrusted to the Department of Infrastructure and Industrial Development. In his place, DM of Chandauli Nikhil Tikaram Funde has been made DM of Ayodhya.
Amethi DM Nishan has been appointed as Mission Director of National Ayush Mission. Etawah DM Avnish Kumar Rai has been made DM of Badaun. Kannauj DM Shubhant Kumar Shukla has been sent to Etawah on this post. Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister and Additional Director of the State Agricultural Produce Market Council has been made the District Magistrate of Kannauj.
These are important changes.
Badaun DM Nidhi Srivastava has been appointed as Special Secretary Higher Education. Prayagraj Municipal Commissioner Chandra Mohan Garg has been made the District Magistrate of Chandauli. CDO Silam Sai Teja of Jaunpur has been given the responsibility of Municipal Commissioner of Prayagraj. Mrinali Avinash Joshi, Joint Magistrate of Gorakhpur, has been made the CDO of Jaunpur. Saharanpur Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Chauhan has been made DM of Amethi. Shipu Giri, Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been appointed as Municipal Commissioner Saharanpur, Mission Director of National AYUSH Mission Mahendra Verma has been appointed as Secretary Uttar Pradesh Bhusampada Regulatory Authority (RERA). Sandeep Bhagia, CDO of Muzaffarnagar, has been appointed as Additional Commissioner State Tax Gautam Budh Nagar, Meerut Joint Magistrate Kandarkar Kamal Kishore Deshbhushan as CDO Muzaffarnagar and Rajkumar I, who is running in the waiting list, has been appointed as Special Secretary Energy Department.
