Application for Bihar Board’s class 12th scrutiny and compartment exam started

The Bihar Board or the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the application process for class 12th scrutiny and compartmental exam of the board from today, students who are not happy with their number can apply online for scrutiny today i.e. from April 1 to April 8. During this time, the board has started taking online applications for the intermediate special examination and compartmental examination 2025 for the students who have failed, for this, the candidates can apply by visiting the official website of BSEB.
According to the information received from the board, the result of these examinations is aimed to be released by May 31, so that students can get admission in higher education on time.
What is scrutiny?
If you feel that your numbers have come down while you have given the paper very well and you should get more numbers, then you can apply for scrutiny. In this process, the board will get your copy checked again and if the number is given to you wrong on a question and your answers are correct then your number will be improved.
What is compartment?
If you have failed from one or two subjects in the Bihar Board Examination, then you have to request the board to appear in the compartment examination, after which the student will have to take the exam on the exam date. After this, the result of the compartment will be released.
What is the difference between scrutiny and compartment?
There is a big difference between Bihar Board’s class 12th scrutiny and compartment examination, if a student has a low number in scrutiny, then his copy is checked while compartment exams are for students who fail in one or 2 subjects in the board examination.
How much will be fees?
Students who have not happy with the number found in class 12th result or have failed in the examination can fill the application form with Rs 120 per subject fee.

The candidate must first visit the official website of the board biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Then click on the link ‘BSEB 12th Scrutiny Form 2025’ present on the homepage. Now under the new registration panel, the type of examination and district is to be selected. After this, submit the roll code and roll number and fill the captcha and click on the register button. Now fill Bihar 12th scrutiny application 2025 and submit it. Finally, definitely pay the fees and keep a copy of it with you.
