The Central Board of Secondary Education Board i.e. CBSE has today released the sample question paper and marking scheme for class 10th and 12th for next year’s examination. Candidates who are eligible for the board exam this year can download it for CBSE Board Exam 2025 by visiting the official website.

What was said in the notice?

The purpose of releasing the sample question paper (SQP) and marking scheme (MS) is to ensure uniformity and proper coverage of the syllabus. This will provide an understanding of the design associated with the paper. The official notice says, ‘SQPs provide a comprehensive understanding of the design of the paper and need to be used in classroom teaching and learning activities with full focus on building concepts.’

Sample papers of all these subjects are available

The website provides sample papers for all important subjects for class 10th and 12th including English, Maths, English, Social Science, Science, Accountancy, Business Studies and Computer Applications, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Additionally, students can download marking schemes for subjects like Assamese, Bengali, Bharatanatyam, Bhutia, Hindustani Music (Vocal), Carnatic Music (Melodic & Percussion Instruments), Carnatic Music (Vocal), Painting, Arabic, etc.

When will the exam be held?

As per the previous notice, the board exams for 2025 are scheduled to be held from February 15 next year and are expected to end in April 2025. The date sheet for both the classes is expected to be released in November or December 2025. Candidates are advised to check the official website for the latest updates regarding the exam.
