The Central Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct the board examinations of class 10th and 12th from 15th February 2025, after which the wait for the datesheet has started among the students. It is being told that the datesheet of 10th and 12th board exam can be released soon. According to media reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education may release the schedule in the last week of November. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard.
Students will be able to download the datesheet by visiting the official website www.cbse.gov.in. Let us inform you that CBSE had released the datesheet of class 10th and 12th for the examinations of 2024 in mid-December 2023. Whereas, the datesheet for the 2023 examinations was released at the end of December 2022. Around 44 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 8,000 schools across the country and abroad in February 2025 next year.
Exams will start from 15th February
Theory board examinations for class 10th and 12th will start from 15 February 2025. Practical examination will start from January 1st. Whereas, the practical examination of winter session will be conducted from 5th November to 5th December. This time around 44 lakh candidates will appear in the examination.

Students first go to the official website www.cbse.gov.in. Click on “Examination” tab on the home page. – After this select the option of Board Exam Datesheet 2025. The schedule will appear on the screen. Check subject wise date and download it. You can take a printout of the datasheet for future reference.
75% attendance is mandatory
CBSE had recently said that it is mandatory for girl students to have at least 75 percent attendance to appear in the board exams. CBSE had issued a notification regarding attendance in this regard, in which it was said that only in case of emergency, the board can give relaxation of up to 25 days. However, for this, students will have to submit the necessary documents.
