Date of CA examinations postponed

ICAI has released a revised schedule regarding the dates of CA exams. According to the schedule, now CA final and intermediate examinations will start from 16. Earlier these examinations were to be held between May 9 and May 14, which was postponed in view of Indo-Pak tension.

When will the exams be held?

After improving the India-Pak situation, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced on Saturday night that now the Chartered Accountant i.e. CA examinations will now be held from 16 to 24 May. Let us know that ICAI had announced the postponement of these examinations earlier this week.

What did you say in the notification?

ICAI said in its notification issued, “It has been decided that CA final, intermediate and INTT-AT (PQC) examinations which were going to be held from 9 to 14 May, will now be held from 16 to 24 May.”

Earlier shifts and exams will be held at the center

In addition, the ICAI said that the time and center at the time of examination will remain the same, no changes have been made in them. These exams are to be held at its scheduled center from 02 pm to 5 and 6 pm. Apart from this, ICAI also said that the CA Foundation examinations of May Session will be held at their scheduled time. According to the notice, the CA Foundation Exams of May Session will be held on 15,17,19 and 21 May as per its scheduled schedule.

Significantly, this decision of ICAI came after the statement of Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Saturday evening in which the Foreign Secretary said that the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of India and Pakistan has agreed to stop all kinds of firing and military action in land, air and sea since 5 pm today.
