Paper leak claims rejected
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSC) on Monday dismissed the claims of the 2025 board examination paper leaking and described them as “baseless” and said that they are spreading unnecessary fear between students and parents. The board said that it is actively taking steps to combat the rumors being spread on social media like YouTube, Facebook, ‘X’ and other platforms, which is claiming that the question paper leaked Are or have access to exam papers.
Exam preparation and social media rumors
According to CBSC, the board is conducting class 10 and 12 examinations for 44 lakh students affiliated to about 8,000 schools in India and abroad. These exams have started from February 15 and will run till 4 April. The board said that it has made complete preparations to conduct these examinations in a proper and fair manner. The board also said that it will not ignore the false information being spread on social media and will take strict action against those who spread such rumors.
Action against those who spread fake news
The CBSC also said that it is working closely with the law enforcement agencies to catch those who spread false news. The board has warned the students that if they are found involved in such activities, they may face punishment under CBSE’s “unexpected means” rules. This means that if a student share or uploads the content related to the examination on social media, then all his examinations can be canceled, the current and the next three years.
An appeal to parents and advice to get correct information
The CBSC has asked the parents to stop their children from believing in anything without correct information, as it can cause problems in the examination. The board has advised all students, parents and schools to get accurate information only from CBSC’s official website (www.cbse.gov.in) and reliable sources. The board has also warned that legal action will be taken against those who spread the rumors, so that the fairness of the examination remains.
