A credit-based transfer system proposed a four-year undergraduate program with 160 credits, with one credit for 15 hours of classroom instruction. In the last two semesters, the student will have to do research work on the basis of his main subject. The UGC has recommended that a semester will be of 90 working days and an academic year will be divided into two semesters. As per the draft, there will be 40 hours of teaching in each working week and summer courses can be conducted on an accelerated basis so that students can complete the already remaining courses in 99 days or in 100 to 199 days.

NTA postpones NCHM JEE
National Examination Agency (NTA) has postponed the National Council of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2022. Along with this, NTA has also declared the new date of examination. As per the notification, the exam will be conducted on June 18, 2022 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Based on the request of the candidates, it has been decided that the revised date of NCHM JEE will be held on June 18, 2022, the notification said. Candidates can apply for NCHM JEE 2022 by visiting the official website till May 3, 2022.
