During Mahakumbh, there was a plan to make Adityanath a prime ministerial candidate

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said on Sunday (April 20, 2025) that during the recent Mahakumbh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was planned to be presented as the Prime Ministerial candidate and alleged that the BJP leader made it a political event. Mr. Yadav told reporters here, “They wanted to convert it to political Aquarius, not religious, but for the devotees, but for political purposes.” The former Chief Minister said, “It is heard that during Mahakumbh, there was a plan to declare the name of him (Adityanath) as the face of the Prime Minister.”
