The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Thursday announced to cancel the examination of Hindi and science subjects of the Class 10 Board Examination. This decision was taken when the papers of these subjects were leaked on social media. According to a JAC official, the Hindi examination was held on 18 February, while the science examination was scheduled to be held on 20 February.
When will these subjects be tested?
While issuing a notice, the Jharkhand Academic Council said that based on the information received from social media and newspapers, the Hindi (Course A and Course B) held on 18 February and the science examination to be held on 20 February has been canceled. It was also told in the notice that the re -examination of these two subjects will be conducted later.
Examinations are going on since 11 February?
Class 10th and class 12th board examinations started from February 11 and these examinations are being conducted amidst tight security across the state. About 7.84 lakh students in Jharkhand are appearing in these board examinations.
Exams are going on in two shifts
Class 10 examination is being held in the first shift (from 9.45 pm to 1 pm), while the class 12 exam is being held in the second shift (from 2 pm to 5.15 pm).
4.33 lakh students included in 10th exam
4.33 lakh students are appearing in class 10 examination, who will take the exam at 1,297 examination centers across the state, while in class 12 examination, 3.50 lakh students will take the exam at 789 examination centers.
