Ramnagari once again witnessed the historic moment. On Tuesday, on the auspicious occasion of Lord Parashuram Jayanti, the 42 -foot -high divine flag column was duly established on the main peak of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram on the second date of the Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. Now the total height of the temple including the flag has increased to 203 feet.
At eight o’clock in the morning, the flag-pillar was formally installed at the main summit of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. According to Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha area, the flag column is 42 feet high. The installation process started at 6:30 am and was completed by 8 pm. When this flag was installed on the peak of the temple amid Shankhanad and Vedic chanting, it seemed as if the soul of the entire Ayodhya had touched the sky with a sankirtana named Shri Ram. The height of the temple, including the summit, is 161 feet. Now 42 feet high flag-pillar has also been added to it.
Champat Rai said that the establishment of the flag-pillar is not just a religious ceremony. This was the answer to the trust hidden in the tears of countless eyes that were waiting for this moment for generations. Today, when the flag was hoisted on the peak of Lord Rama’s temple, the heart of every devotee was filled with pride. It is not just a metal column but a symbol of faith, devotion and self -respect of crores of Ram devotees.
The flag is an antenna that leads the energy of the universe to the Ram temple.
Dr. Anil Mishra, trustee of Ram temple, said that a special type of religious flag has been created to reach the Ram temple of the universe. This is a unique antenna, which leads the energy of the universe to the sanctum sanctorum of God. Engineers created a special structure to prevent the flag from fluttering in strong winds. The flag is also built according to the same design.
