Gate 2025
Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Roorkee, is all set to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. As per the schedule, the exam will be held on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February and the admit cards for it will be issued tomorrow i.e. on 7 January 2025. Earlier the admit cards were scheduled to be released on January 2, but later the date of release was postponed due to administrative reasons. Now according to the reports, it is expected that the GATE 2025 admit card link will be activated around 11 am.
Once the admit card is released, candidates can download the GATE 2024 admit card by using their registration number, date of birth and other details on the login page. The link for admit card can be seen at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

First of all visit the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in then go to the link ‘GATE Admit Card 2025′ Now it will redirect you to the login page’ After that enter your credentials like registration number, date of birth and other details then GATE Admit Card 2025 will appear on the screen Finally download and save GATE Admit Card 2025 for future reference

Candidates appearing for the entrance examination are required to bring original and valid photo identity document (no photocopy/scanned copy/no expired document) as mentioned while filling the online application. Students will have to bring one of these identity cards at the time of entry into the examination hall.

Foreign students must bring the following identity cards at the time of entry.
Valid passport Any other valid photo identity card issued by their government Driving license
Remember that under any circumstances, entry will not be allowed after 30 minutes of the start of the examination. Candidates who enter late will not get any extra time to complete the examination.
What will be the marking scheme?
This entrance exam is of 100 marks and has a total of 65 questions. The paper is written in English. There will be two time MCQs, in the first MCQs- 1 mark will be deducted for each correct answer and 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. In other MCQs – 2 marks will be deducted for each correct answer and 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Whereas, there is no negative marking in NAT – Numerical Answer-Type (NAT) questions. Also, no marks are deducted for wrong answers in MSQ questions. However, no partial marks are given for a single wrong option or half correct combination of options.
