Prayagraj: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) has announced a change in examination centers for candidates who were going to appear in the entrance examination in Prayagraj. In view of Mahakumbh, the examinations to be held in Prayagraj of GATE 2025, Jam 2025 on 1 and 2 February will now be held in Lucknow on the same dates.
Due to this, the examination centers changed
In a statement, Gate Organizing Institute, IIT Roorkee and JAM Organizing Institute, IIT Delhi said that applications have been received from several candidates who have expressed their difficulty in reaching the examination centers due to huge crowd in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, the prescribed examination at the centers of Prayagraj has been transferred to the centers of Lucknow (1 and 2 February) on the respective GATE and JAM exams.
Admit cards have been issued afresh

Candidates have to ensure that the details of the new exam center are visible correctly while downloading the update admit card. All the candidates should be uploaded in the online application form for evidence of identity and should bring their photo ID in the admit card.
Examination centers for JEE also changed
Earlier, the NTA issued call letters for all the examinations to be held from January 22 and January 30. Due to the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the authorities have converted the examination centers from Prayagraj to Varanasi for the upcoming JEE. The examination which is given in Prayagraj will now be taken in Varanasi.
