HTET 2024 exam date postponed
If you are preparing to give HTET 2024 exam, then this news is useful for you. Board of School Education Haryana Bhiwani (BSEH) has postponed the exam date for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). Please note that these exams were scheduled to be held on 7th and 8th of December, but now these exams will not be held due to some reason. Now the board will soon tell when these exams will be conducted. Haryana Board has issued a notice and given this information.
What was said in the notice?
As per the official notice, HTET 2024 exam will now be conducted at a later date, to be informed after the new schedule is finalised. The official notice reads, “The State Government agrees to your proposal to postpone the HTET Examination, 2024 scheduled to be held on 07.12.2024 (Saturday) and 08.12.2024 (Sunday) till further orders. Accordingly, the concerned are informed Could.”
Now when will the exam be held?
Let us tell you that the board will not conduct HTET 2024 on 7th and 8th December. The reason for postponing the exam has not been mentioned in the notice and it has also not been mentioned as to when this exam will be conducted.
For whom is the exam held?
HTET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for Primary Teacher (PRT) for classes 1 to 5, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for classes 6 to 8 and Postgraduate Teacher (PGT) for higher classes.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to become a postgraduate teacher must have Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent degree with at least 50% marks. For TGT posts, candidates must have B.Ed degree as well as graduation degree in the subject for which they are applying. For PRT posts, candidates must have passed Senior Secondary class with at least 50% marks or be studying in the final year of two-year D.El.Ed course.
The minimum qualifying marks for all categories except Scheduled Caste (SC) and Divyang, Physically Handicapped candidates have been set at 60%. For SC and Divyang, Physically Handicapped candidates, the minimum required percentage is 55%. SC and Divyang, Physically Challenged candidates from other states are required to score at least 60% marks to qualify for HTET 2024.
