JEE Main 2025
JEE Main exam is going to start from 22nd January. In such a situation, NTA will release the city intimation slip of JEE Main at any time. NTA had already informed that the notification slip would be issued any time in the first week of January. After its release, candidates will have to download it from the official website of JEE Main jeemain.nta.nic.in.
When will the exam be held?
Please inform that NTA will conduct Paper-1 BE and B.Tech examination on 22,23,24,28 and 29 January. This examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Whereas, the examination for Paper-2 B.Arch and B.Planning will be held on January 30 from 3 pm to 6 pm. After the completion of the examinations, the rank of the students will be prepared on the basis of the best scores of both the sessions.
Who will be able to give entrance to IIT?
Let us inform you that only the candidates who have secured up to 2.5 lakh rank in JEE Main result will be able to appear for JEE Advanced exam for IIT. Also, students must have at least 75 percent marks in 12th or be among the top 20 percentile candidates in the respective board exam.
If you get the same number, whose rank will be higher?
If two candidates get the same number in JEE Main, then the age of the candidates and JEE Main application number will no longer be considered. Instead now the ranking will be based only on the performance of the students in the examination. Understand this with the example that if marks of two candidates are equal then the one who has more marks in Mathematics will get higher rank in merit.
If even this does not solve the problem, then rank will be given on the basis of marks in Physics first and then Chemistry. The ratio of correct and incorrect answers will be seen. If the problem still persists i.e. same number remains then they will be given the same rank in JEE Main list.
