Yes, the country’s prestigious Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) is starting MBA and MTech studies online under the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). Interested professionals or students will now be able to obtain such a degree from this prestigious institute while sitting at home. Also, after BTech, the PG Diploma course will also be conducted in online mode. The Senate, the highest body of the institute, has approved the conduct of these courses.
TripleIT will take admission in many PG Diploma courses conducted in online mode from January 2025. The MBA course will be completely in online mode. At the same time, students taking admission in MATech course will have to do practicals by attending the laboratory of the institute for two months (in one year) during summer vacation. Apart from this, the facility of PG Diploma has been provided to the students in online mode after BTech. Students doing BTech (from any branch) and BASc (from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) will be able to get PG Diploma by studying for one year (two semesters). Similarly, after completing a six-month course after BTech, a certificate of BTech AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be provided. The courses conducted online have been designed under the new education policy. This course is flexible.
