IIT Delhi design thinking and innovation programme: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has launched a certificate program in design thinking and innovation. This program will be conducted online and the program will start from 20 December 2024. The objective of this program is to teach professionals the necessary skills to remain competitive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The Design Thinking and Innovation program has been designed for candidates holding Manager, Product Developer, Entrepreneur, Business Consultant and Senior Executive positions. Interested candidates will have to pay Rs 1,10,000+ GST fees to do the course. After completing the course, candidates will also be given a certificate from IIT Delhi.
The program focuses on defining, ideating, prototyping, testing, generative AI, human centered design (HCD), iterative design and sustainability, agile design and data driven innovation, the press release reads.
Participants will have the option to attend two on-campus sessions at IIT Delhi for further networking and direct interaction with faculty. Led by Professor Vijayaraghavan M. Chariyar, an award-winning expert in Design for Sustainability, frugal innovation and traditional knowledge systems, this program provides the guidance of an experienced leader in the field of sustainable innovation. The press release claims that with over two decades of experience including entrepreneurial ventures like Ekam Eco Solutions, Prof. Chariyar will provide participants with insights into integrating design thinking with advanced AI tools, helping them drive impactful and sustainable innovation.
