More employment opportunities are being created for the less educated people as compared to the more educated people across the country including Bihar. General degree holders are getting more jobs in the job fairs organized by the central or state government. On the other hand, less employment opportunities are being created for the people with higher education in these fairs. This has been revealed by the employment data available on the National Career Service Portal. According to the portal, 12 lakhs 99 thousand 203 employment opportunities were created in the country between June and August. Only 1 lakh 23 thousand 806 employment opportunities were created in June while 1 lakh 70 thousand 730 employment opportunities were created in July.
In the month of August 10 lakh 4 thousand 667 employment opportunities were created. Out of these 12th pass people got the maximum employment opportunities. According to the data 8 lakh 81 thousand 870 employment opportunities were created for 12th pass people. This is 67.88 percent of the total employment opportunities created. After this employment opportunities were created only for 9th pass people. 1 lakh 60 thousand 737 employment opportunities were created for 9th pass people. This is 12.37 percent of the total employment.
92 thousand 560 employment opportunities were created for 10th pass. This is 7.12 percent of the total employment opportunities. 89 thousand 857 employment opportunities were created for graduates, which is 6.92 percent of the total employment opportunities. There were 20 thousand 978 jobs for post graduates, which is 1.61 percent of the total employment opportunities. 27 thousand 640 employment opportunities were created for ITI pass. This is 2.13 percent of the total employment opportunities. Only 3556 employment opportunities were created for those who did diploma along with 10th and this is only 0.22 percent of the total. Similarly, 7691 employment opportunities were created for those who did diploma after 12th. This is 0.59 percent of the total employment opportunities.

Only 170 job opportunities for PhD holders
Only 170 employment opportunities were created for PhD degree holders. This is only 0.01 percent of the total. 5670 employment opportunities were created for PG diploma holders. This is 0.44 percent of the total employment. Employment opportunities were also created for those who are illiterate, i.e. those who never went to school. Opportunities were created for 8474 such people which is 0.65 percent of the total.
