Therefore, it will be important to prepare and eat Kheer on 16th October and Goddess Lakshmi will also be worshiped at night.

On Thursday, October 17, the full moon date of Ashwin month will remain till 04:56 pm. That means sunrise will also happen on this date. Therefore, there will be importance of bathing and donating on Sharad Purnima on this day and fasting will also be observed on this day. The festival of Valmiki Jayanti will also be celebrated on this day. Lord Satyanarayan’s fast will also be observed on this day.
