ISRO’s YUVIKA 2022: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is organizing a special program called “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (Yuvika) or “Young Scientist Program” for school children, who help young students (especially those from rural areas) in space. Provides basic knowledge on Technology, Space Science and Space Applications.
The online registration process is going on and the last date to apply is 10th April till 4 PM. The provisional selection list for ‘Yuvika’ will be out on April 20, 2022.
Interested candidates can apply for Yuvika 2022 through official website www.isro.gov.in. Yuvika – 2022 Resident Program will be of two weeks duration during summer vacations from May 16 to May 28, 2022. The objective of this initiative is to select 150 students from across the country who are in 9th standard by March 1, 2022.
ISRO’s YUVIKA 2022 Selection Criteria: Know- Selection Process
Marks obtained in class ‘VIII’ examination.
– Participated in science fair (organised by school/district/state/central government authority at school/district/state and above level) in the last three years.
– Should have secured prizes in Olympiads/Science competitions (1 to 3 ranks at school/district/state and above level in last 3 years) in Olympiads/Science competitions in the last three years.
– Winners of sports competitions organized by the school/government. / Institutions / Sports Federations (1 to 3 ranks at School / District / State and above level in the last 3 years) should have been achieved in the last three years. Let me tell you, the winner of the online game will not be considered.
Must be a member of Scouts and Guides/NCC/NSS in the last three years.
– Have performed in online quiz.
Special weightage will be given to the students studying in the school located in the Panchayat area.
