Jharkhand Academic Council has announced the dates of class 8th and 9th board exams. In such a situation, the candidates who are going to appear in this exam can check the dates of Class 8 and Class 9 Board Exam 2025 on the exam portal of JA C – jacexamportal.in. As per the notification, the Class 8 final exam will be conducted on January 28 in two shifts. Whereas, class 9 examination will be conducted on 29th and 30th January. There will be two shifts on the first day of JAC Class 9 final exam and one shift on the second day.

In the first shift, students will appear for Paper 1 exam, which will include Hindi, English and additional language subjects. This shift will be between 9:45 am to 1 pm. The second shift will be from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. In this shift, students will write the second paper which will include subjects of Math, Science and Social Science.
The exam will be taken on OMR sheets, which means the questions will be of multiple choice type. There will be 50 questions from each subject and the school will conduct internal assessment of 50 marks. Then you can upload the internal assessment marks between 20th January to 10th February.
Schools can download the admit card for Class 8 board exam from jac.jharkhand.gov.in and distribute it among the students.

When will the 9th exams be held?
The final examination of class 9 will be conducted in two shifts on the first day i.e. January 29. The first shift will be from 9:45 am to 1 pm. In this shift, students will write the first paper, which includes Hindi A, Hindi B and English subjects. The second shift will be between 2 pm to 5:15 pm and in this shift students will appear for Mathematics and Science papers.
The exam will be held in the first shift on the second day only. Students will write the paper of Social Sciences and other languages (if any).
Students will answer multiple choice questions for 40 marks per subject. They will get 15 minutes to read the question paper. Admit cards will be uploaded on the board’s website on January 20.
