There is a great news for candidates looking for jobs. Jammu and Kashmir Services and Selection Board (JKSSB) has invited applications for more than 500 junior engineers (civil) posts in Public Works (R&B) and Water Power Departments. However, the application process for this recruitment has not started. Once starting, the candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website.
Give information that the application process for this recruitment will start from 5 May 2025, which will run till June 3. Apply till 3 June or before this date.
Details of vacancies
508 posts will be recruited under PWD (R&B) and Water Power Department. Of these, 150 posts are to be filled under various posts in the Public Works (R&B) department, while the remaining 358 posts are to be filled under the Water Power Department.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates wishing to apply for these posts should be a resident of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and they should have a valid residence document issued by the competent authority before the last date of online application. Age: Age for the above posts will be calculated according to open merit and 01.01.2025 for various reserved categories. Open merit (OM) and Mexium Age Limit for Government Services/Contract Employment is 40 years, age limit for ex-servicemen and physically disabled persons is 48 and 42 respectively while SC/ST/ST-1/ST-2/RBA/RBA/ALC/IB/IWS/OBC is the maximum age limit for 43 years. Determined qualification: For both departments, 03 -year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a government recognized institute, a Diploma / AMIE section of the Indian University or AMIE section (A&B) India candidates are eligible.
Application fee
Candidates filling the online application form will also have to pay a fee of ₹ 600/- to complete their application. The fee applicable for SC/ST/Scheduled Tribes-1/Scheduled Tribe-2/EWS and PWBD category candidates will be ₹ 500/-.
The fee can be paid through online mode like net banking, credit or debit card.
