Nowadays making CV i.e. Curriculum Vitae is an important skill. But most of the people do not give importance to it and instead of making their CV impressive, they try to complete their work simply by copy-pasting.
Every person’s life, experiences and skills are different and it is important to present them in the right way.
So today we are going to tell you about making a great CV which is going to help you in making an impressive CV.
personal information
A CV should always start with your personal information. This should include your name, address, phone number, and email ID. Make sure all information is correct.
This section should appear in the proper layer in the CV. In this you have to write your personal details and contact details.
In this sequence, your name should be first in capital letters, followed by a short description. In the contact details, you can mention your address, e-mail ID, phone number and if there is any website, it can also be mentioned.
work experience
After your personal details, the next thing your recruiter would want to see in your CV would be work experience. Wherever you have worked, write it in your CV. In Work Experience, first write the name of the company, then your designation and then how long you worked there. This gives the recruiter a better understanding of your professional life.
Educational qualification
In CV, you also have to write about your education, in which apart from intermediate pass, graduate, post graduate, you can also mention about diploma, PhD, any special training or courses.
Keep in mind that in this section, along with education, you can also mention the names of the organizations that pass out the students. Mention the marks or percentage only if they are good. If you have expertise in a particular area, include that as well.
skills
Understand that this section of your CV is the most important, because it is directly related to the job description. You are creating a CV for the job you are applying for.
Therefore, whatever is the demand for that job. If you have those skills, then definitely mention those skills in your CV. The most important thing is to clearly list what skills you have, such as technical skills, linguistic skills or other special abilities.
objective
In this section of the CV you have to write an objective for your company. Objective means what you will do for the company in such a way that it will benefit the company or the company will grow.
Overall, even if in short, in this column you will have to mention how fruitful you will prove to be for the company.
