It is known that after passing all the stages, the candidates are appointed to two types of posts. These posts are of Group B and Group C. Some posts of Group B are gazetted and some are non-gazetted. While the posts of Group C are only non-gazetted. Income Tax Inspector in CBDT. Inspector in Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC). Sub-Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), National Investigation Agency (NIA). Assistant Enforcement Officer (AEO) in Enforcement Directorate. Assistant in IB. Divisional Accountant, Auditor and Accountant in CAG Office. Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerk in several ministries and departments.
