CTET 2024
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the application correction window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 today i.e. on October 25. Its registered candidates will be able to make changes in CTET 2024 form through the official website ctet.nic.in. CTET 2024 application correction window was opened on October 21.
Will be able to login with login credentials
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and password to make modifications in the CTET 2024 application form. CTET 2024 correction window provides a one-time opportunity to applicants to correct important details in their applications.
What can be updated
Changes are permitted in personal details such as name of the candidate, and name of his/her parents etc., which should match with the official documents to avoid any discrepancy during the further process.
Candidates can also edit important exam-related options, including which paper they want to appear for (Paper 1 or Paper 2). This is important, as Paper 1 qualifies candidates to teach Grades 1-5, while Paper 2 is for Grades 6-8. Additionally, they can change the subject chosen for Paper 2, which tests knowledge in a specific learning domain, and add the languages they have chosen for Language 1 or 2.
Additionally, there may be updates in their category (General, OBC, SC/ST) or disability status, which may affect the eligibility criteria and concessions in the examination. Corrections in postal address and name of the institution from where they completed their B.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education are also allowed, thereby ensuring that all the information is accurate for the examination and certification process.
When will CTET 2024 exam be held?
The CTET 2024 exam, which was originally scheduled for December 15, has been rescheduled to December 14. However, the board has announced that if the number of candidates is more in a particular city, the exam can also be conducted on December 15.
