With the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence), students will now be able to study in an interesting way. Whether it is to make a drawing or solve a maths question, this AI-enabled software will be helpful in everything. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) alumnus Himanshu Chaurasiya has developed it to help in teaching. It has been named ‘Medha’. The special thing is that it has been developed in just one year and it will work without internet. With this, one can ask questions in any language and get answers in the desired language. The Uttarakhand government has signed an agreement (MoU) with alumnus Himanshu to use this software. Under the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), Himanshu will train 780 teachers there to run it. Himanshu, who did B.Tech from the Department of Biotechnology of MNNIT, claims that this teaching assistant developed by him is the country’s first AI-enabled software.
Himanshu started his own startup named Co-Grade in the institute during his studies. This company develops software for specific needs. He told that this AI software has been designed for activity based learning as per the standards of NEP-2020. With its help, teachers will be able to prepare the assignments of the students as well as give them homework. It is also capable of preparing lesson plans for teaching.
He will also give a mantra to explain
AI software will also give teachers the mantra to explain any complex topic to students easily. Himanshu told that it has been created keeping in mind rural and hilly areas where internet facilities are not very good. According to Himanshu, under the agreement, he will train 780 teachers for free, after this if any teacher wants to get training, he will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Saurabh and Prashant Chaudhary of Etawah are also included in Himanshu’s team.
