The Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE will soon issue the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. CTET July 2025 Exam. The date and time of the exam have not been decided yet, but it is expected that the CTET July 2025 exam will be held in the first week of July. The application process for this will start after the notification is issued. This notification will be published on the official website of CBSE ctet.nic.in, where you will get all the information from eligibility criteria to exam pattern.
Although the CTET application process usually starts in the first week of March, the notification has not been released this year yet. Last year, the application process for CTET started on 7 March 2024 and closed on 4 April 2024. In such a situation, it is expected that CBSE will soon start the application process by issuing notifications.
CTET July 2025 application fee: What will be the application fee?
For the CTET examination held in December 2024, the general/OBC (non -creamy layer) class candidates will be charged Rs 500. The application fee was charged Rs 1000. The fee was only for Paper I or Paper II, while the application fee of Rs 1200 was charged for both Paper I and II from the general/OBC (non-reform layer) candidates. On the other hand, SC/ST/PWD candidates were charged only Rs 500 for Paper I or Paper II and Rs 600 for Paper I and II. In such a situation, it is believed that this time the application fee will be charged as much.

CTET July 2025 Application: How to apply?
First of all, you have to log on to the official website of CTET ctet.nic.in. Then you have to go to the link ‘Apply online’ and open it. After this, fill the online application form and note the registration number/application number. Now you have to upload the latest scan photo and signature. Then the examination fee will have to be paid through debit/credit card and net banking. Finally, do not forget to save the confirmation page.
CTET 2025 Exam Pattern: What will be the exam pattern?
There will be two papers in the CTET exam to be held in July 2025. Both will have multiple choice questions (MCQs), for which four options will be there. Each question will be of one digit and there will be no negative marks for it. Paper I will be for the candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, while Paper II will be for those candidates who want to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who want to become teachers for both primary and upper primary levels (classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8) will have to appear for both paper I and Paper II.
