New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that from this year, CA final examinations will now be held three times a year instead of twice a year. It will be held three times a year – February, June and October. Last year, ICAI had decided to conduct intermediate and foundation courses three times a year and now CA final examinations will be similar.
Final exam was held twice a year
ICAI said in a statement, “To provide more opportunities to students, the 26th Council of ICAI has taken a historic decision to conduct the CA final examination thrice a year. This exam was conducted twice a year.” Now, three levels – CA final, intermediate and foundation will be conducted three times every year, which will give students more opportunities to appear in the exam. These exams will be held in the months of January, May and September. ”ICAI said that the post qualification course will also be changed in the information system audit.
The evaluation test for this course was held twice a year in June and December, but now it will be held three times a year – February, June and October, which will further increase the access and convenience for the members.
