Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date for application for Civil Services Preliminary Examination (UPSC CSE Prelims 2025). Now interested candidates can apply till 18 February 2025. Under this examination, the Civil Services (CS (P)-2025) and Indian Forest Service (IFOS (P) -2025) will be recruited. Interested candidates can apply online through UPSC’s official website upsc.gov.in.
Improvement window also opened
This year, 979 posts will be recruited under UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. UPSC has not only extended the date of application, but has also provided the facility of improvement window. The application form can be amended from 19 February to 25 February 2025.
When was the last date before this?
Earlier, the last date to apply for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 was fixed at 11 February 2025, which has now been extended from one week to 18 February.
This is an application fee to be paid.
Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay the application fee. The application fee for general category candidates has been kept at Rs 100. Whereas women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Divyang (PWBD) candidates have been exempted from the application fee. The fee will have to be paid through online medium.
