ST students scholarship: Directorate of Tribal Affairs (DoTA), Assam has invited applications for pre, post-matric scholarship for ST students. Only ST students of Assam can apply for this scholarship. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the scholarship by visiting the official website scholarships.gov.in. Let us tell you that the last date to apply is October 31, 2024.
If you study in a government, co-government or government recognized institute, school, higher secondary school, college or university then apply for this scholarship today.
Ability-
1. Students of class 9th to 10th can apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship, whose family’s annual income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
2. The student should not be availing benefit of any other scholarship.
3. For Post-Matric Scholarship, the annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
4. The last date to apply for both the scores is October 31, 2024.
Documents required for scholarship registration-
1. Student’s Aadhaar card must be linked to his/her registered mobile number.
2. Parents’ income certificate
3. Caste or Category Certificate
4. Valid back account details
How to apply for student scholarship-
1. First of all, the candidates have to visit the official website of National Scholarship Portal, scholarships.gov.in.
2. After this, you have to click on the link “Apply for scholarships’ given on the home page.
3. After this you will have to do your OTR registration.
4. After this you will have to fill the application form.
5. Now you have to submit your application form.
