Odisha police recruitment 2024: There is a great news for the candidates looking for jobs. Odisha Police Recruitment Board has released the notification for recruitment to various posts including Sub Inspector under the State Home Department. However, the application process for these posts has not started yet. Once launched, candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website odishapolice.gov.in. Please note that, as per the official notification issued, Odisha Police Service Examination will be conducted for recruitment on a total of 933 vacancies.

The application process for this recruitment will start from 20 January 2025. In other words, candidates can apply for this recruitment from January 20. The last date to apply for this recruitment is 10 February 2024.
Odisha police recruitment 2024: vacancy details
A total of 933 posts will be recruited through this recruitment drive. These include 609 Sub Inspector posts, 253 Police Sub Inspector (Armed) posts, 47 Station Officer (Fire Service) posts and 24 Assistant Jailer posts.
Odisha police recruitment 2024: What is the eligibility?
Candidates can understand its eligibility through the points given below.
General category candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 25 years as on January 1, 2024. The official notice reads, “Candidates should not be less than 21 (twenty one) years and not more than 25 (twenty five) years of age as on 01-01-2024. High School Certificate from the Board of Secondary Education of Odisha, Cuttack/Central Secondary Only the date of birth recorded in the Board of Education, New Delhi/Indian Council of Secondary Education, New Delhi or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council will be acceptable to the OPRB.” Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit is given in respect of SC, ST, SEBC, Female candidates of all categories.
