Recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir Police
If you are interested in getting a job in police then this news is for you. There is recruitment for 669 Sub Inspector posts in Jammu and Kashmir Police. Jammu and Kashmir Staff Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an official notification in this regard. However, the application process for this has not been started yet.
Please be informed that the application process for this will be started on 3rd December. Once launched, candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website jkssb.nic.in. At the same time, the last date to apply for this is January 2, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can understand their eligibility by following the steps given below.
Domicile: The applicant must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. To prove this claim they must have a certificate issued on or before January 2, 2025. Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-28 years except serving personnel. The age limit for them is 18-30 years. The cut-off date for determining the age limit is January 1, 2024. Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay the application fee. The application fee for all except SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS category candidates is Rs 700. The application fee for SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS category candidates is Rs 600.
Please note that its selection process will include three stages – written examination, physical standard test and physical endurance test. There will be objective type multiple choice questions in the written examination. The paper will be in English only.
