There is a great news for the candidates searching for jobs in the medical line. Tripura Public Service Commission has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Specialist Medical Officer. However, the application process for this recruitment has not started yet. Once launched, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online through the official website of TPSC, tpsc.tripura.gov.in.
The application process for this recruitment will start from 10 January 2025 i.e. candidates will be able to apply from this date only. Whereas, the last date to apply is 2 February 2025, candidates should apply on or before this date.
How many posts will be recruited?
Under this recruitment drive, 172 posts will be filled in the organization.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can understand the eligibility for it through the points given below.
Holder of at least 2 years Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Post Graduate Diploma in any specialty recognized by NMC. Holders of Permanent Registration Certificate of any State Medical Council/NMC. Candidate must have Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura. Age limit should be less than 40 years as on 2nd February 2025.
selection process
The selection process of this recruitment consists of two stages – Screening by API Score consisting of 85 marks and Interview/Viva carrying 15 marks. The final selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate (API Score) in order of merit and adding up the marks obtained in the interview process (out of 15 marks).
