GATE 2025
The online application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) will close tomorrow. Candidates who have not yet applied for the exam can submit their forms with late fees at gate2025.iitr.ac.in by 11:59 pm on October 7. The regular application window for GATE 2025 had closed on October 3.
When will the exams be held?
The exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February. The examination will be conducted in two shifts on all days.
fees
The application fee for SC, ST, PH and women candidates during the extended period is Rs 1,400. The fee for all others is Rs 2,300.
The application fee during the regular period was ₹900 for Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Disabled candidates and ₹1,800 for all others.
exam pattern
A candidate can apply for a maximum of two test papers. Paper-wise schedule and admit card will be released later.
Who can apply?
The minimum educational qualification to apply for GATE 2025 is a degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts or Humanities. Those who are currently in their third year or above in their graduate program are also eligible to apply.
Professional certificates approved by Ministry of Education, AICTE, UGC or UPSC which are equivalent to BE/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Planning degrees are also accepted
GATE 2025 registration: What documents will be required?
Candidate’s photo. Signature of the candidate. Scanned copy of Caste (SC/ST) certificate in PDF, if applicable. Scanned copy of PWD certificate in PDF, if applicable. Scanned copy of Dyslexia certificate in PDF, if applicable. Scanned copy of valid photo ID document: Aadhar-UID (preferred)/Passport/PAN Card/Voter ID Card/Driving License.
