The Examination Regulatory Authority of Uttar Pradesh will open the registration window for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) entrance exam from September 18. Candidates who wish to apply for this course can register for UP D.El.Ed 2024 exam through the official website updeled.gov.in. The registration window will start from September 18, which will remain open in October as well.

As per the schedule, the UP DElEd 2024 registration link will remain active till October 9. Candidates will be able to complete the payment of UP DElEd 2024 application fee till October 10. UP DElEd 2024 exam is conducted for admission to over 2.3 lakh seats.

UP DElEd 2024: Qualification

Interested candidates must have passed class 12 with at least 50 per cent marks from a recognised board to register for the exam. However, SC, ST, OBC, Divyang category candidates must secure a minimum of 45 per cent marks to be eligible to apply.

UP DElEd 2024: Exam Pattern

During the exam, questions will be asked from 4 sections. Section 1 will have 25 questions of 25 marks from General Knowledge. Section 2 will have 25 questions of 25 marks from Teaching Aptitude. Section 3 will have 25 questions of 25 marks from Reasoning and Section 4 will have questions from General Science/Mathematics/Language (English/English).

For information, let us tell you that there is no negative marking in this exam.

UP DElEd 2024: Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs 700 as UP D.El.Ed 2024 application fee. While SC and ST category candidates have to pay Rs 500 as UP D.El.Ed 2024 application fee. The application fee for Divyang category candidates is Rs 200.

How many seats are vacant?

There are 233350 seats vacant for admission in D.El.Ed in the state. Last year, more than 3.36 lakh applications were received for admission on these seats. However, out of these, only 1.63 lakh candidates took admission.
