SBI issued notice
State Bank of India has issued a notice regarding SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024. SBI has issued an important notice on change in cut off dates. Candidates can check it by visiting the official website sbi.co.in. The cut off dates for ex-servicemen have been changed. The official notice reads, “With reference to the above advertisement, it has been decided by the competent authority to revise the cutoff dates in respect of those candidates who are still serving in the Armed Forces and Junior Associates in line with the Government of India guidelines. Interested in applying for the post.”
As per the revised guidelines, candidates who are still serving in the Armed Forces and willing to apply under Ex-Servicemen category will have to submit a certificate (Proforma ‘B’) from the competent authority stating the specific period ( SPE) indicating the date of completion, along with declaration (Proforma ‘C’) has to be submitted. Only those candidates whose SPE has been completed on or before 31.01.2026 are eligible to apply under this recruitment. They are also required to submit a release letter at the time of joining the Bank along with a self-declaration that they are entitled to the benefits admissible to Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Further, those candidates who have completed their initial period and are on extended assignment are required to submit certificate as per Proforma ‘D’. If selected, such candidates mentioned at (ii) and (iii) above should join the Bank on their release on or before 31.03.2026. These certificates are mandatorily required to be produced at the time of joining.
Please note that the SBI clerk registration process is going on. The last date to apply is January 7, 2025. Under this recruitment drive, 13735 posts will be filled in the organization. For more information candidates can visit the official website of SBI.
