School closed: According to the Times of India, schools in many places in Rajasthan will remain closed on September 13 on the occasion of Ramdev Jayanti, Khejarli Shaheed Diwas and Teja Dashami. This includes both government and private schools. Apart from this, schools may also remain closed on September 16 on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, although no official notification has been issued regarding this yet.
Students and parents are advised to confirm the holiday with their school. Many schools will remain closed on 14 September as it is the second Saturday of September. Many schools remain closed on second Saturdays and 15 September is a Sunday followed by a possible holiday on account of Eid on 16 September. This will give children a fairly long week of holiday.
Schools will remain closed in other states due to other reasons. In Madhya Pradesh, schools will remain closed on September 13 due to weather in Bhopal, Gwalior and Damoh districts. In Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district, holidays have been fixed for September 12 and 14 in view of the deteriorating weather conditions. In Manipur too, schools have been closed till September 15.
