The youth waiting for the results of recruitment in Haryana have got a shock. Haryana Staff Selection Commission Chairman Himmat Singh clarified on Saturday that the Election Commission has sent a letter to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission to release all the results only after the elections. He said that the examinations whose schedule has been released will be conducted accordingly. The results of Group-56, 57, 1, 2 and Haryana Police cannot come before the elections. The Election Commission has clearly refused. He said that the results of 2600 posts of Group D will also be released only after the assembly elections.
Talking to journalists in Chandigarh, the chairman said that the exam for 24 thousand posts has been conducted. The written exam and screening test for 12 to 14 thousand posts are still pending. The result of 12 thousand posts has been released. Students are asking us questions about the result of the exam. Some papers have been completed. Some are yet to be conducted. He said that students should not pay attention to the rumours spread on social media. CET exam will be conducted between 24 October and 24 December. About 2800 cases are pending in the court related to the commission.
Congress had raised questions on recruitments
The Staff Selection Commission had announced recruitment to fill 5600 vacant posts of police constable on 16 August. According to the notification, applications for this recruitment were to start from 10 September, which were to continue till 24 September 2024. Along with this, a notification was also issued on the same day regarding 76 posts of 2 categories of teachers (TGT and PTI). The election dates were announced on 16 August and the commission also announced the recruitments on the same day, so Congress MP Jairam Ramesh complained about it to the Election Commission. Congress called it a violation of the code of conduct. After the complaint, the commission had sought a detailed report on this matter from the state government.
If Congress leaders withdraw their complaint, we will immediately provide 24 thousand jobs: Chief Minister
On the pending recruitment results, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said in a press conference at the BJP office that the recruitment stop gang has ruined the future of the youth. We were about to recruit, but Congress leader Jairam Ramesh of Bhupendra Hooda and Randeep Surjewala went to the Election Commission and stopped all recruitments. We have recruitments for 24 thousand youth ready, only the results are left to be declared. If Jairam Ramesh withdraws his complaint from the Election Commission and the commission approves, we will immediately give 24 thousand jobs. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that today I promise the youth of Haryana that when the election results will come after October 4, I will take oath as the Chief Minister later, first I will give joining to 24000 recruitments. I will take oath only after the youth get jobs.
BJP is misleading the public by asking for permission for recruitment: Shailaja
Congress MP from Sirsa, Kumari Shailaja, while reacting to the statement of Haryana Staff Selection Commission Himmat Singh, said that when the election code of conduct is in place in the state, the commission is talking about recruitment. The government knows very well, the commission chairman also knows that the Election Commission never gives permission to do this. The commission has made it clear that whatever recruitment has to be done, it will have to be done after the elections. The chairman is saying that he is ready for recruitment but the Election Commission is not giving permission. By saying this, the chairman and the BJP government are misleading the public, if recruitment was to be done then what were they doing till now or were they waiting for the election code of conduct to be imposed in the state.
