The incident of attack of a man -eating jackal from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh has come to light. Here two innocent siblings were playing in the courtyard of a village. Meanwhile, a fox attacked him. Hearing the screams of the children, their father and grandfather ran and reached the spot and the fox also bitten them. After this, the people of the neighborhood started gathering in the courtyard, after which the fox ran towards the forest. The injured children have been admitted to the district hospital from Badarwas Hospital.
Akash Jatav (4) and his sister Meenakshi (2), resident of Barkheda village of Badarwas Forest Zone in Shivpuri, were playing in the courtyard of their house on Wednesday evening. Then a fox jumped down from the stage and attacked the children. Hearing the screams of the children, both father Jagdish and Dada Ladura came there and tried to drive away the fox. During this time, the man -eating fox also injured him.

Later, when people gathered after hearing the noise, the fox ran away. With the help of police, the injured children and grandfather were brought to Badarwas and then the district hospital for treatment. It is being told that the fox has earlier attacked some animals in the village and hunted them. Incidents of fox attacks are happening in Jatwa Basti of Barkheda village. The incident of attack on children has caused more panic among the villagers.
‘No action was taken’
Regarding the whole matter, the villagers say that their crops are ready to be cut into the fields, but due to fear and panic they are not able to go to the fields. We have complained about this matter to the forest department officials several times, but no one is taking any action on our complaint. After such an incident, all the people of the village are very scared.
