CAT exam will be held on 24 November 2024, admit card will be released on 5 November. The exam will be conducted in three sessions. Also keep in mind that applications can be made online only. How much will the fees be?
CAT exam will be conducted in 170 cities of the country. To apply, candidates of general category will have to pay a fee of Rs 2500. While the fee for reserved category is Rs 1250. There is no definite information yet as to when the exam result will be declared, but looking at the trend of previous years, the result should be declared by the third week of December. Applications are being accepted from August 1 and today i.e. September 13 is the last date to apply.
You can fill the form with these easy steps
To apply, first go to the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in. Here first click on New Registration. This will create your login ID. To do this you have to enter your details like name, date of birth, nationality, phone number and email ID. Enter it and submit. After this you will see a captcha code on the screen. Verify it and the OTP you will get will complete the registration. Now you will get CAT ID on email. Log in using this ID and fill the form by following the given steps. Enter all your educational and personal details correctly. Now upload your recent passport size photo and also scan your signature. Now fill the option of the IIM you want to get admission in. Also, select the course and also select the test city. After filling all the options, pay the application fee for CAT exam. It will be deposited online only. For this you can use credit card or debit card. After this press the submit button and your registration will be completed. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university can apply.
