Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Joint Defense Service (CDS) II Exam Time Table 2025. All the candidates who are part of this prestigious examination can now get complete information about the schedule by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. How many posts will be recruited?
This year, a total of 453 posts will be recruited through CDS II examination. The application process for this has been completed by 20 June 2025. Millions of candidates have registered to participate in this examination.
When will the exam be done?
According to the schedule issued by UPSC, the CDS II exam will be held on 14 September 2025 (Sunday). There will be a total of three shifts in this exam and each shift will be of two hours. The English paper will be from 9 am to 11 am. General Knowledge (GK) paper will be held from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The preliminary mathematics examination will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm. Candidates are advised to reach their examination center ahead of time to avoid any inconvenience. Through this examination, the selected candidates get an opportunity to become an officer in the Indian Armed Forces.

Step 1: Candidates should first visit the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: After this, the candidate click on the “What is the new” section on the homepage.
Step 3: There will be “Exam Time Table: Joint Defense Services Examination (ii), 2025” link, click on it.
Step 4: Now the PDF screen of the time table will open in front of the candidates.
Step 5: Download the candidate page after this. Step 6: Finally, take a print out and keep it with you for future reference.
