JEE Main 2025
National Testing Agency i.e. NTA will close the application window for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains 2025) Phase-1 today on 22nd November. In such a situation, those candidates who want to appear in the Session-1 examination of JEE Mains can apply by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Remember that through a recent notification, NTA has clarified that the last date for JEE Main application will not be extended.
When will the correction window open?
Candidates who apply before the last date will be allowed to make amendments in their form and will get the opportunity to make corrections between 26th to 27th November.
When will the exams be held?
JEE Main Session-1 examination will be conducted from January 22 to January 31, 2025. The examination will be conducted in two shifts – first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
What improvements can be made in the application?
Candidates should remember that during making corrections in the correction window, you will not be allowed to change your mobile number, email address, permanent/present address, emergency number details and photo.

If the application fee increases due to correction, candidates will have to pay the additional fee and the fields will be updated only after payment. However, if the fees gets reduced after correction, the agency will not refund the candidates. For more details, visit the official website of NTA.
JEE Main 2025: How to apply
First of all go to jeemain.nta.ac.in, after that open the application link then register to get the login details. Now login to your account. After this fill the application form, upload documents and pay the fees. Finally submit the form and download the page.
What changes have been made this time
Optional questions were eliminated in Section B. Age criteria ended. The tie breaking rule has changed, after which age and application number will no longer be considered if the same number is obtained. The number of examination centers was also reduced to 284. It is no longer necessary for the name to match in Aadhaar and high school marksheet. Negative marking started for numerical value questions. In this, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
