Answer State Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) The 10th and 12th board exam results 2022 will release in the second week of June. Ahead of this year’s result, it is being speculated that the number of students clearing the exam may come down. In other words, the pass percentage is likely to go down and the number of students failing in the exam may increase.
Last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UP Board exams were canceled and students were promoted through a different evaluation method. Moreover, this year the classes were not only conducted properly but also conducted amidst strict anti-cheating as per the board. Thousands of students left the exam this year. In such a situation, the pass percentage of UP Board class 10th and 12th may decline as compared to the previous years.
In 2021, a total of 97.88 percent students were declared passed, in 2020 it was 74.6 percent, in 2019 70.02 percent passed the exam, in 2018 it was 72.43 percent and in 2017. The percentage was 82.5 percent. This year, the board had conducted the written examination and is likely to see a drop in the overall pass percentage.
To qualify the exam, students need to score a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject as well as in aggregate. UPMSP will prepare the merit list based on the final results.

The exam was conducted in March-April for a total of 51,92 689 candidates. Out of which 24,11,350 appeared for Inter Exam and 27,81,654 appeared for High School.
