Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final merit list of Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS I) 2024. Candidates who have appeared in this examination can view and download the merit list by visiting the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
As per the official notification, this merit list has been prepared for 121st Short Service Commission (Men) (Non-Technical) course and 35th Short Service Commission (Women) (Non-Technical) course. A total of 590 candidates have got a place in this list. These include 470 male and 120 female candidates. These courses will start from April 2025.
Name included in the course
The list also includes the names of candidates who have already been recommended for pre-flight training courses at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezhimala (Kerala) and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, the notification said .

The results of the medical examination have not been taken into account while preparing the merit list. The candidature of all candidates is provisional and their date of birth and educational qualification will be verified by Army Headquarters. UPSC has said that the marks of the selected candidates will be made available on the website within 15 days and these marks will remain on the website for 30 days.
How to download merit list
Candidates first go to the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in. Click on the ‘What’s New’ section on the home page. Click on the link Combined Defense Services Examination (I), 2024 (OTA). Check your roll number and name in the PDF that opens. Download the PDF and keep a printout of it for future reference.
