Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has released the exam schedule for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2025 (JEE Advanced 2025). When will the exam be held?
Please note that JEE (Advanced) 2025 exam will be held on 18 May 2025. The exam will be conducted in two sessions of three hours each – Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The official notification read, “JEE (Advanced) 2025 will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The examination will consist of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. It is mandatory to appear in both the papers. “
What is the eligibility criteria?
Earlier, IIT Kanpur had shared the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2025. According to him, for Indian students, there are 5 eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced – performance in JEE Main 2025, age limit, number of attempts, appearance in class 12 exam and first admission in IIT.
Additionally, recently the Joint Admissions Board (JAB) has decided to reinstate the previous eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced, allowing candidates to take the exam only twice. According to the board, all other conditions of the examination will remain as per the conditions announced on November 5.
