Rajasthan CET: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board’s 12th level Common Eligibility Test (CET) is going to be held on 22, 23, 24 October. More than 18 lakh youth have applied for this. While waiting for the admit card, candidates are facing a lot of confusion regarding the dress code, especially jeans. Chairman of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Alok Raj said that jeans are prohibited because they have metal buttons. In response to a question from a candidate, he said, ‘Any clothing that has or has high metal content cannot be allowed to be worn. It (jeans) will have metal stitch buttons and the zip will be metal. Due to this logic, jeans have been kept out. This is the only logic I understand.
Let us tell you that the selection board has changed the dress code in its recruitment examinations including CET. Now candidates will be able to take the exam wearing a full sleeve shirt. Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has made it clear that now the shirt sleeves of the candidates will not be cut. Wearing of full sleeve shirt will be allowed but the shirt should be plain buttoned. Only metallic items will be banned at the examination centres. Metal shirt buttons will not be allowed. The shirt sleeves of many candidates were cut in the graduation level CET.
– Male candidates will come wearing slippers or slippers. Female candidates will come wearing salwar suit or saree, half or full sleeve kurta/blouse, slippers, slippers.
– You will not be allowed to enter wearing watches, shoes/sandals, socks, sunglasses, belts, handbags, hair pins, amulets/amulets, caps/hats, scarves, stoles, shawls, mufflers etc. Do not come wearing coat, tie, muffler, jacket, jerkin, blazer, shawl etc.
– Bring new color photographs of 2.5 cm * 2.5 cm size, transparent blue ball pen to paste on the attendance sheet. The photo should not be more than one month old. All photos will be checked with software.
