Please note that appointment to this post will be on tenure/deputation basis.
Who can apply?
Candidates applying for this post must have Master’s degree or its equivalent grade with 55 percent or more marks. They should have at least 15 years of service experience as Assistant Professor at 11th academic level or 8 years of service experience at 12th academic level – experience in both Associate Professor and Educational Administration. Additionally, those who have comparable experience in research establishments and other higher education institutions are also eligible. Those who have 16 years of administrative experience including 8 years of experience as Deputy Registrar at Level 12 or equivalent can also apply. DU says that candidates having experience in conducting university examinations will be given preference.

The candidate selected on this post will be appointed for five years, which can be extended for one more term. Delhi University gives preference to applicants below 57 years of age. The cut-off date to determine qualification and experience is the last date of application, 19th December. The application process is completely online. Applications will be processed solely on the basis of uploaded information and documents. Candidates sharing false or incorrect information will be taken action as per law. Applicants working in Government or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) will have to submit No Objection Certificate from the employer. This also applies to people serving on the board or autonomous body.
