There is good news for the students doing B.Tech from Indian Institute of Information Technology (TripleIT). He will be able to study MBA (Master of Business Administration) along with technical education. In four years, students will be able to obtain degrees in two courses at the same time. B.Tech Major IT (Information Technology) and B.Tech Minor Economics and Finance will be able to get engineering degree.
Students taking admission in B.Tech in the academic session 2024-25 will have to compulsorily study minor courses. The institute has made five types of combination preparation for minor courses. B.Tech IT and B.Tech EC are the major subjects in the institute. With this, Indian Knowledge System, Entrepreneurship Development, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management and Science of Happiness have been included as minor subjects for the students.
Students who complete the first year of B.Tech will be awarded a B.Tech in Certificate. B.Tech in Diploma will be awarded in the second year and B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) degree in the third year. B.Tech degree will be awarded after completing four years of study. Honors degree will also be given on 15 credits.

Director of TripleIT Prof. Sharad Mukul Sutavane said, ‘From the academic session 2024-25, students will have to compulsorily study mine degree. There are five combinations for this.
B.Tech major and minor will be of 160 credits
The B.Tech four-year course will be of 160 credits. Major degree will be given on 145 credits. 15 more credits are required for the minor. An honors degree will also be awarded to a student who earns an additional 15 credits within four years. There will be multiple exit and multiple entry options for new entrants.
