Adampur Seat Result Live Updates: The results of the assembly elections held on October 5 in Haryana for 90 seats will be declared today. Adampur assembly seat is also included in these 90 seats. Adampur seat is located in Hisar district. It comes under Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. This seat has been the stronghold of the Bhajanlal family. This time, sitting MLA Bhavya Bishnoi is contesting the elections from BJP. Chandra Prakash is in the fray from Congress, Krishna Gangwa Prajapati from JJP, Randeep Chaudharywas from INLD and Bhapendra Beniwal from Aam Aadmi Party.
Talking about history, the past of Adampur assembly seat is very interesting. Assembly elections have been held 13 times so far in Haryana. However, elections have been held in Adampur 17 times (4 by-elections). From here only Chaudhary Bhajanlal and his family have been winning. Assembly elections were held here for the first time in 1967. Bhajanlal himself was elected MLA from this seat 9 times. He has won 7 times on Congress ticket and once on Janata Party ticket. After this formed his own party Hajkan. Reached the assembly by winning once on his ticket also. After him, his son Kuldeep Bishnoi became MLA by winning 4 times. He became MLA thrice from Congress and once from HJK. Bhajanlal’s wife Jasma Devi was also once an MLA from Adampur. Kuldeep Bishnoi’s wife Renuka Bishnoi has also gone to the Assembly after winning the elections from here.
In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Kuldeep Bishnoi of Congress had won this seat. He defeated BJP candidate Sonali Phogat. However, he left the Congress and in the 2022 by-election, Kuldeep Bishnoi’s son and BJP candidate Bhavya Bishnoi won.
